Why shops switch

Refunds after a payout come off the next one

Consignify leaves a paid payout as it is when an item comes back. Consignment Hub records the refund against the consignor and takes it off their next payout, so you're never out of pocket.

Markdowns and expiry built in

Prices drop on the schedule you set, and ended agreements go on a list to return, donate or keep. Consignify doesn't mark down or expire items.

A price that doesn't rise with your sales

Consignify charges more as your monthly payouts grow. Consignment Hub is free for 3 consignors and $19.99 a month after that, however much you sell.

Switching takes an afternoon

  1. Install Consignment Hub from the Shopify App Store. Your products and orders stay where they are.
  2. Import your consignors from a CSV, with what you already owe each one as an opening balance.
  3. Link the products you already sell to their consignors, in bulk from the Shopify product list.
  4. Sales are tracked from then on. Run both apps side by side until you're sure.

Questions

Can I move my consignors from Consignify?

Yes. Export them to a CSV and import it under Consignors › Import, with what you owe each one as an opening balance. Then link your products to their consignors from the Shopify product list.

Does Consignment Hub track variants?

Yes. You can link a single size or colour to a consignor, on every plan. Consignify links whole products.

Do I have to stop using Consignify first?

No. Both apps read your orders on their own, so you can run them side by side until your numbers match, then uninstall the one you don't need.
