Art galleries and artists

Consignment software for art galleries

Each artist has their own split and their own agreement. Consignment Hub keeps track of both, works out what you owe from every sale, and lets artists check their own sales.

How it fits your shop

A split for each artist

Set a share, agreement length and end action per artist. Your default covers everyone else.

Artists see their own sales

Each artist gets a page with your gallery's name, showing their works, what has sold and their payouts.

Prices stay where you set them

Markdowns are off unless you turn them on, so artwork keeps the price you agreed with the artist.

Questions

What's the usual gallery commission?

Many galleries split sales 50/50 with the artist, and shops selling artists' work often keep 30 to 40%. Set a default and change it per artist.

What happens to unsold work at the end of an agreement?

After your pickup grace period, it's taken off sale and goes on your hand-back list, ready to return to the artist.

Do artists need a Shopify account?

No, and no password either. They sign in with Google or a code sent to their email.
